I've lived here for 46 years and not seen anything quite like this. Lightning activity so frequent that thunder was a _constant_ rumble for more than an hour... sounded like standing next to a diesel locomotive.
No apparent damage here, but I note that a neighbor across the street had a tree uprooted.

I was lucky, flew out last Thursday to my HS reunion, flew back Monday, without a hitch (*). Tuesday, FAA flight-plan tracking computers needed a re-boot... chaos ;-)
(*) Except for having fun with TSA doing the "Monk maneuver" as they wanded my artificial hip ;-)

Yikes! And i was thinking of moving to AridZona for a climate warmer than OhRegan and presumedly isolated from HizziCanes, ToraNadoes etc (having much of SouthAmerica youall as a barrier).

When i was in the Army, i was posted in Fort Huachuca for about 6 months (about Jun-Nov). Took me about one hour to get used to the heat.
Yes! that is what is god about it. Also was stationed in Redstone Arsenal AL where it feels soooo good to have the humidity below 80% and the temperature below 90. Over two years of that, and never got used to it...
My wife made the same comment!
