I have TWO truly wireless reading devices - absolutely NO wires even inside! Battery life runs from about 50 years to over 100 years. With attached processor (again NO wires) they can parse and/or interpret any human language, and can even make sense of the beauty of trees, animals, etc. And they cannot be duplicated by any known mechanical technology now or in the far future.

I think you missed the thick bundle of wires which connect the sensors to the processor which carry all that electro-chemical communication.

If it's trained properly you mean. It takes almost 3 years of firmware configuration for it to understand one language and probably more for multiple. It also seems to the firmware configuration fuses have a use-by date as once you pass the first six years of operation after initial power-up, it becomes exceedingly difficult to add another language.

Muzaffer Kal brought next idea :

Of course a new pair can be designed with a few moments of ecstasy, built in 9 months and trained in about 20 years at geat expense to the builders.

And, when used in concert, they even do 3-D!
