if you are trying to simulate an 800 MHz BW amplifer, you will need an acurate model for the transistor or IC and you may need to include the parasitic Ls and Cs in the physical layout.

As part of my curriculum I have to present wideband TV amplifier (3 diffrent proposals) and perform set of simulations for the selected one. Among the requirements for the circuit, is of course it's bandwidth, ~40-890 MHz. I already have one fairly-well performing circuit, but still I need the other two; I managed to find another one at

Thank You :) I have actually tired that way, but with minor results so far... but on the other hand I tried only with Maxim and in very limited mannner... so I am going there :) Anyway the only circuit I've managed to find there didn't work well after transfering to simulator. The problem is that the circuit must be simulated in some old (legacy, I'd say) version of PSpice (6.3). I'm not a PSpice guru ;) but I'm quite confident that I can transfer the schematic to the program... .. anyway, the idea seems to be quite promising, and I'll keep looking.

Of course, still any answer suggestion etc will be most welcomed.

National Semi and Analog Devices have Video amps. One of those 2 do have 1G bandwidth amps.
