Krw thinks that telling other people what he thinks counts as "explanation". There's no point in him trying to "teach" anybody anything, because he doesn't understand what he thinks he knows, and has no insight in how he came to believe the nonsense he comes out with.
Or a way for Digikey to raise prices.
Yeah, I really wonder! The tariff amounts are all over the place (which may depend on country of origin) but it is pretty confusing. At least Digi-Key puts it right where you can see it. Some other large distributors (Avnet, Arrow, etc.) may ONLY tell you about the tariff AFTER you place the order! I REALLY don't like that idea! (It MIGHT have to do with some parts that came in before the tariffs, and some after, so they have to look at the date code or batch #.)
