Heavens, no! For one thing, it'd be a waste of a perfectly good rubber chicken, and for another, I don't do bongs since I found out that most of the THC winds up in the grunge. THC isn't water-soluble, but it's very sticky, and it sticks to the smoke particles which precipitate out in the water into bong grunge.

And getting out the grunge and smoking it is a PITA, so I don't bother.

I am seriously thinking about making an evaporator, however. ;-)

No, that's disgusting, and there's no THC in it anyway - you have to scrape the condensed smoke sediment out of the inside of the bong where the water was. It just ain't worth it. I have a nifty little pipe that I made out of a chunk of aluminum I found on the floor in the machine shop. ;-) When it loads up, I scoop out the resin and crud, and it's _much_ better than bong grunge! ;-)

Some people fill the bong with whiskey and take it in turn to drink the whiskey at various intervals during the getting stoned session - its not quite as bad as months old bong gunge with scummy bits floating on top and rancid looking flocculent sediment drifting about the bottom!
