voltage and current meter design -- help!

Hi!

We need help for design the analog front-end for a voltage and current measurement. If you are interested in this contract job please contact me at: DigitalSignal999[at]yahoo.com

For voltage, the device will have 4 channels: 4 (A, B, C, N) Connector type Safety Banana Max. input voltage 1000 Vrms Max peak voltage 6 kV Ground connection Safety Banana

For Current input: Number of inputs 4 (A, B, C, N)

Accuracy is about 0.2%. Bandwidth is 20kHz. All channels will be simultaneously sampled with A/D converters.

Measuring ac voltages to 1500V at 20kHz is easy, and not too hard even with 0.2% accuracy (assuming % of FS). But, when you talk about 1500V peak and current in the same breath, one has to wonder exactly what you mean. The current on what wires, at what potential? How much current, and at what allowed voltage burden? Do you have in mind using current transformers? If so, how low in frequency?

I emailed them about five weeks ago and they\'re basically looking
for a carbon copy of the front end of a Fluke 430 series 3-phase
"Power Quality" meter.

John is right. We are looking for something like Fluke 430 just for the front-end part.
