UK (BT) Broadband filter question

Mainly two symmetrical LC lowpasses.
I might do that if I have some time. The answering machine is so fickle that no matter how small the DSL remnants it'll jam up the audio the minute DSL is on. But it means the answering machine is IMHO a lousy design so I might just replace it. If I find a better one and that's a big if.

I looked inside one. It's just acouple of filters. Nothing fancy.
