It's not the LASER that's blurry. It's your eyes. If you continue to look into the laser, everything will soon be blurry. If you must look at the laser, wear laser safe glasses or the equivalent blindfold.

Incidentally, dust is good for cooling your machine as long as it doesn't restrict the air flow. Solid materials with high thermal conductivity can move much more heat that air. That's why liquid cooling works so much better than air cooling. If you were blowing a dust storm from your PC, it would be MUCH cooler. Thermal conductivity in Watt/(meter-Kelvin) Air = 0.025 Soil = 1.5 Diamond = 900 - 2300

If you're really concerned about keeping your CPU cool, remove the filter and toss some dust into the machine. The dust will pickup the heat and eject it along with the air flow. You can attach a vacuum cleaner dust bag to the air outlet to catch the dust, which can later be reused. Kinda like a heat-pipe that runs on dust instead of water vapor.

I'm not sure what to recommend for a supply of dust. The best insulator and thermal conductor is diamond dust. However, that's rather expensive. Alumina or other ceramics should work reasonably well. Try to keep the air flow down to where it doesn't sand blast the components and avoid contamination by household dust with inferior thermal conductivity.
