The media are controlled by the politicians, the politicians by the multinationals and other industry, the industry by the share holders, the shareholders by you, you by the media. There is the feedback loop, there is no real reference (human values change in war, and war is for profit and so on...), so it becomes a swinging pendulum, Get a ticket on Ares-1 and move to a nice quiet planet with a lots of sunshine and cool drinks and all that stuff. Look through a telescope to earth, see them swing, them leftists weenies, them rightist fascists, the masses, with a bit of luck you see mushrooms too.
