Quite a few months ago, someone was asking here for a source of tapped IFT style coils.
In case that requirement still exists, a company called Spectrum Communications in the UK has commissioned a Far-Eastern manufacturer to produce a range of inductors to replace various Toko types.
They are mainly aimed at ham radio use but may be worth looking into.
If the color code of the tuning slug is standard, I can get some for
10c in Montreal.
I have had small quantities of very high quality inductors made to order by Coil-Q Corp in the USA.
The cost was surprisingly reasonable.
