Super super capacitor:?

Huh? The above makes no sense. If the capacity drops to where it's "no longer usable", it's not running. ???

My older ThinkPads ran about 3H when new. The current models claim

13H and 24H[*] with the additional "battery slice". These aren't the power "sippers", either (W series). I have no idea how it's measured, though. [*] w/ two 94WH batteries.

Just a few weeks ago there was a news clip of an Italian scientist with at least of racks of hardware, claiming to be some cold fusion power plant.

From the news clip, it is impossible to tell if that hardware had anything to do with cold fusion, but of course, it easier to get some more venture capital, when you some impressive looking hardware to show :-) and not just drawings.

I'm always amused by the "lab" setups occasionally seen on TV -- often there's an oscilloscope with a sine wave sitting idly; sometimes it's even being displayed on a Tek 545 or the like. :)

Not arguing with the numbers, but F/cm^3 is not energy density, perhaps FV^2/cm^3?
