I am looking for spice models for Freescale high power RF transistors like the MRF7S38010H and MRF6P27160HR6. It is difficult to translate the data sheet parameters to spice model parameters and the models don't seem easily available on the net.
Is spice still the most popular tool for doing RF circuit design? Freescale seems to provide models for EEsof/Agilant software but that must be expensive and you can probably get pretty far with spice. I am using 5Spice. Is that the best one?
