serial RAM

Hi

Which is the largest (in bits, not mm^3) serial RAM IC you guys know about?

Thanks

Atmel serial flash, 64Mbits at45db611 ?

I couldn't find any decent-sized serial RAM when I needed it, and ended up using RAMTRON's FRAM - 256k bits, which is non-volatile, but acts like RAM in writability, speed, power and lifetime.

You could program an FPGA to be a serial ram and get from a couple of hundred kbits up. But that would be a pretty weird thing to do.

How about a much smaller CPLD to turn some other kind of RAM into a serial RAM.
