Scope day

Especially when you can find an 8M version, cheap. I bought some M25P80-VMW6G on Ebay for 12.85 cents, each

That's really amazing, isn't it. Back in the day, I paid $10 for a 2102 static ram, 1Kx1 CMOS.

A S-100 1KB RAM card was over $1,000 when it first hit the market, and they were bragging about how much better it was than the existing RAM on the CPU card. All 256 bytes.

Tom,

Are you still looking for this?

I have acquired a (faulty) 11802 with executive processor firmware V10.10 and TBC firmware V10.12. I've just backed up the EPROMs so if you would like copies give me your email address.

I'd be very interested in copies, if you could send it to the address below.

Thanks

Sure,

snipped-for-privacy@verizon.net . Can I send them to KO4BB? He keeps a repository of test equipment firmware.

Do you need any help with the 11802?

It had nine errror codes on arrival, I've got it down to one - T2341 (Time base/Strobe/Ref Clock). I'll probably just leave it at that and store it as a donor unit for my working 11802.

Have you changed out the two battery backed ram chips? You can measure the voltage between pin 14 and 28 and it should be more than 2+ volts. If you need a replacement, I can give you a Mouser part number that works great.
