Routing Ethernet PHY signals

I need to connect two 10/100 Ethernet MAC+PHYs on the same board using their PHY inputs/outputs (TX+/-,RX+/-). Basically, the two MAC/PHYs need their ports connected to a switch IC. My question is, are there any special considerations I should give when routing these signals to eachother? As in any specific sort of termination. They are differential, so I imagine I should try to couple them as well as possible.. but other than that, is it just TX+ of one to RX+ of the other and vice versa??

Thanks!

Look at the PHY docs for the specific termination.

But yes, you can just connect the analog sides together. To convince yourself of this, imagine the two PHYs connected with an "Ethernet cross-over" cable.

Hope That Helps
