Maybe i should fire up an old IBM PC XT and use a BASIC programin interpretive mode running at 4800 baud to the internet? I bet it double-boots to use the full 1Meg (switches set to MB 128K) faster than your XP boots... Oh, yes...due to knowledge of hardware of that beast, i can write a floppy with deleted records that will be impossible to read with the ASIC firmware in PCs today (only regular records are supported by the equivalent to the FDC). And _age_ of a computer has *what* to do with electronics?
