No we didn't. We stormed the shops the week when analog was switched off. But the industry was prepared; prices plummeted rather than soaring. Maybe there was some political force behind that as well. Cut off an entire nation from TV and people might spend 3 hours a day using their brains. A scary thought for politicians, I'm sure.
