I strongly suspect that Google is out to kill usenet.

What makes you think anybody would be interested in your opinion?

Or yours. JERK!

Force everyone to their GoogleGroups, you think?

Possible, but doesn't make sense to me.

I've given up on Google interface for the time being. Too much spam. Using an ordinary newsreader I easily chop most out, but I only have this access a few days a week. Which makes it difficult to keep up my side of any conversations.

I still have you in my "good guys" nfilter list who use google ;-)

(The combination of nfilter + Agent v4.2 functions marvelously... I'm seeing NO spam!)

Go listen to your Fox News, lame brain...

Thanks for your vote of confidence--I still may post from the web from time to time.

Plain old Thunderbird and a few filter rules catches just about all of it so far. Damn shame we have to though.

Cheers, James Arthur
