I am not buying it. This legally blind stuff just does not wash. How can you shoot if you are blind? They had to get me glasses just to make Marksman because I could not hit the target and I thought that my eyes were just fine. Throwing in all those forms and abbreviations look like a smokescreen. It is almost as if you were getting technical to make it sound real. I would not any of those things because after putting in my time, I never looked back. In my time, we were still using M1 and they even closed my base. As I said, nothing special but still better than nothing, maybe.

It is not about me because I give you no tall tales. The problem with McCain is that he makes more out of his military service than he should. You catch him in Keating's pocket and he pulls the hero stuff. He cheats on his wife and when he called on that, he pulls the hero stuff. He does not know anything about domestic policy but when you call him on that, he pulls the hero stuff. Many others did a lot more that songbird McCain but they do not brag about it and try to live off it. I have a very good friend who saw combat in Vietnam. He does not speak about it. He is an accountant and goes to work every day, the same as the rest of us. He is my hero.

Go back to your "usual", though I guess that posting more fiction in this thread doesn't really make any difference.

How does McCain making propaganda movies for the cong compare with the

58,217 killed and 1,947 missing and probably killed in Vietnam? McCain is a dwarf compared to Senator Dole who was shut up while trying to help a wounded soldier. We know about his story, not from him but from others. McCain talks so much about what a big hero he is. Wonder what he is hiding besides those videos he made for the cong.
