Re: OT: Epstein: 'Conspiracy theorists' proved right again

Politicians buy advertising to change peoples minds all the time.

They wouldn't spend all that money if it didn't work. Russian money bought the same kind of advertising that works for everybody else.

The "simple fact" that something appears "extremely unlikely" to Trader4 reflects his enthusiasm for wishful thinking, and nothing else.

Trader4's "suspicions" reflect what he wants to believe.

She won the popular vote by a margin of some three million votes, which makes Trump the most extreme minority president ever.

The vote margin that got Trump the majority in the electoral college was 60,000 votes in three small states where Russian advertising has been concentrated.

Trump is clearly a more defective candidate than Clinton, and has spent the past three years proving it. Trader4 doesn't want to accept this and his wishful thinking is working hard to save him from the real world.

And find a more attractive candidate? One more likely to win a presidential election? Where? The Tea Party had purged the Republican party of anybody remotely respectable, and Trump has thinned them out even more.

But very little prospect of seeing a Republican win the presidency.
