PDF Printing Messed Up in Browser

May 01, 2017 1 Replies

I'm trying to print a page from a browser and I can't get the entire web page to fit on the printed PDF page. Initially I used Opera with several different printing uilities and every one worked the same. If I print portrait the text is off the right edge of the page. Changing the scaling factor did not change anything. So I tried printing landscape and it simply rotates the *ENTIRE* page so the rotated text runs off the top of the page.

WTF!!!???

I figured this must be something with Opera and tried Chrome with the same identical results!!!

I know I used to be able to scale pages through the printer controls to get things to fit on a printed page and I had no problem with any of the several PDF printers I have, Foxit, PDF995, doPDF and something called Save as PDF which might have come with Windows 8.

Any idea what has changed or how to break out of this loop?

Open the file in Libre Office, apply your changes there and print it.
