Error Line 37, Column 10: name start character invalid: only S separators and TAGC allowed here

** Cannot have it both ways.

Error Line 52, Column 8: required attribute "TYPE" not specified

You do realise that the syntax is something or other ?

It isn't the checkers fault if you have got everything arse about face!

You almost certainly have so many elementary errors in the code that the script parser is completely lost. Try opening it in a syntax aware HTML editor like BlueGriffon and pray that its error messages make a bit more sense to you. If you are really lucky it will fix many common faults and give you a rough idea what it might look like.

"using a bigger hammer" is not usually the best way to fix these problems.

the validator is a good test tool, but it only locates inconsitencies, It can't find the logical errors in your code.

Are there two tags.

I'm fairly sure HEADER is not available before HTML5
