Donald Trump: the 45th, 46th and 47th legitimate President of the United States. That's quite something. Care to comment, Bill?

Cursitor Doom does like his misinformation to be thoroughly fatuous.
Donald Trump's claim to be the 46th president of the US was tested in some eighty court cases immediately after that election, and all of them were dismissed as being without merit.
Nobody sane ever took the claims seriously - and that probably includes Donald Trump - but people silly enough to fancy Trump as president can't be counted as sane, and Trump was cynical enough to exploit that.
MAGA leadership doesn't care about "the steal" anymore, same as they stopped caring about Hunter Biden's laptop two seconds after he was pardoned.
It's all old news and they've moved on to the next manufactured outrage to get the rubes riled up.
It's good that he lost 46. It taught the world a useful lesson.
We're in for interesting times. Should be fun.
You seriously believe Biden won??
Can't argue with that!
You seriously believe anyone above a room-temp IQ in the US thought it was _actually_ stolen? Lol...
It's hard to tell. But there's no doubt that DT won this one.
Today's New York Times has a font-page article to the effect that people don't like Trump but strongly agree with his policies. Maybe the US population is acquiring a little common sense.
"people strongly agree with his policies"
He lost the popular vote..
Yeah, he lost with 77M votes, and Harris won with 75M.
There were other candidates...
Ope, I didn't write "majority" my bad.
But poor third party candidates, forgotten by a guy who thinks their shouldn't be parties to begin with!

If the 'official figures' can be relied upon LOL.
"He lost 46" is a pretty grave slip of the tongue for a MAGA to make but everyone should get a shot at a rephrase now and then.
Staying in lib San Fran is probably a good idea if one's going to go around making lexical errors like that...
John Larkin isn't all that serious, but serious people all believe that Biden did win, and there were a bunch of US court cases at the time that supported that idea. trump got quite upset about them.
Probably not. Trump's silly ideas meant that Covid-19 killed more Amercians than it should have done. That wasn't fun
Not effectively - Cursitor Doom approach to argument is to put forward any number of fatuous misapprehensions and assure us the evidence that shows them to be fatuous is not to trusted because he thinks he knows better.
He killed about half a million of them by his mismanagement of the Covid-19 response, and got himself very sick in the process.
His come-back demonstrates that some politicians can fool enough of the people, enough of the time. Common sense doesn't come into it - as John Larkin would know if he had any.
What Trump did do was play up to popular delusions, and launched a few of his own - like immigrants eating people's pets. Karmala Harris couldn't keep a straight face when he threw that nonsense into the "presidential" debate. J.D.Vance got stuck with appearing to take that seriously, which must have been humiliating.
