OT. Dress Like a Dork Day is Today. United States

I always dress like a dork. Somebody has to set the standards that keep men from becoming fashion victims.

If you know enough about men's fashions to know that you are dressing like a dork, you are already a fashion victim.

I've got fixed ideas about what clothes I won't buy (or wear) but I haven't got a clue why - it's fairly obviously based on not wanting to look like people I don't approve of, but I seem to accumulate this information without thinking about it at all.

It's presumably as aspect of "fast" thinking

which I relied on to get my spoken Dutch more or less respectable when I got to the point of not having to think about exactly what I was saying or exactly how I was saying it.
