NPN Transistor Marking

I'm trying to figure out what the third marking means on a BCW60D NPN transistor. The package is marked ADW. What the heck does the W mean.

Thanks

I'm trying to figure out what the third marking means on a BCW60D NPN

** The part is identified by the " AD "

W is a code for the particular country of manufacture.

See the Philips data sheet.

With Philips the only extra marking is p or t for manufacture location.

** Nothing to say some other letter cannot be used.

Maybe " W " stands for Wang King in China ??
