Nice probes

I bought a set of these after seeing Dave Jones enthuse about them. They're really, really nice. I bought another 4 sets.

Your page displays eleven different sets of items, so your recommendation is rather vague.

The 8000 series DMM probes. The others are probably pretty nice too, if you happen to need Kelvin leads, say.

Phil Are these used for connection to a DVM? They are not scope probes...

Right, DVM probes. They're beautiful.

Those do look nice, thanks.

I use spring-loaded needle tip probes from a bed-of-nails tester for probing SMD stuff (DVM and slow 'scope signals). They're nice because they won't slip easily, even if you move a little.

I have been using the *FREE* Harbor Freight DMM, which is remarkably good, given the price!

I may upgrade to these probes, but not sure about plug compatibility.

Mine will arrive tomorrow. I hope they are compatible with my meter.

Did you get the mini-claw attachment for the probe tips? The plugs are just banana plugs - even the *free* HF meter has them, so compatibility likely not a problem.

I dunno. I got the 8000 series Master Kit.
