Just picked up a bunch of EF Johnson snap-in crimp style connectors for RG58-U cable. Part number 140-0435-401.
And am at a loss as to which connector series they are intended for or who would use them for what.
They look like a normal snap-in or push on connector. But are much smaller than a type F or G coax cable and much larger than a SMP series.
Looks highly useful when you would have lots of traditional cables beside each other on a panel.
The shell measures 0.25 inch outside diameter. The shell is split in quarters. An external lip on each shell quarter apparently snaps into an internal slot on the connector body.
Does not quite match up with an SMA jack.
Looks sorta like a miniature copy of the big old GR connectors, except that each shell quarter is identical in shape and size.
Please help....
