'Modern' implementation of Blumlein bridge?

I'm looking for info (reading, app notes, etc) on a Blumlein Bridge or other methods associated with detecting changes in various capacitance- transducers. I believe it is in the category of 'self-balancing bridge'.



Any help would be appreciated...

What do you need to know? I first got to know about if from K.H.P. Neubert's book "Instrument Transducers" published by Oxford at the Claendon Press in

1963, which sttod me in good stead when I went to work at EMI Central Research in 1976 - Percival had worked with Blumlein back in the 1940s.

Kibble and Rayner's "Coaxial AC Bridge", published by Adam Hilger in 1984 - ISDN0-85274 - contains a lot of useful stuff, though it is written for national standards laboratories and doesn't shy away from labour-intensive solutions. Incidentally the "Coaxial"in the title was intended to mean that the authors were talking about fully shielded structures, rather than transmission line transformers.
