led optical efficiency Vs forward current

Hi all, in a led, is it possible that the optical efficiency (lumen/watt) is lower at the growing up of the forward current (If)? May you please explain me ?

thank you

Yes. For some types it is. For other types it is not. At high currents, more power is lost in the internal resistances.
