Does it use an actual hard drive, or a solid state drive? The Microdyne RCB2000 telemetry receiver used embedded NT, and a 80 MB MDISK solid state drive. I lost count of how many I formatted and installed in new receivers at the factory. I was surprised when a customer demanded and got an IDE drive installed in another VME based telemetry receiver we built. They didn't like solid state drives for some reason.
I love the LeCroy scopes we have purchaced. We have Mostly the older PPC based models (9 units). The DDA 120/125, LC Series, and Wavepro 960. The deep memory and tons of built in trigger modes are great. We used the math and Jitter packages on them and saved tons of debug time. I cannot talk to the newer models as our budget for new capital is not what it was a few years ago. Tek has caught up a bit but I still think LeCroy has the edge. The only trouble we have had was on the Wavepro 960 the cursor position knob failed, this was easily repaired.

Well, not a problem, just a few flaws. EG Do a megasample trace of some logic signal, then zoom in and pan in time horizontally. The displayed delay in numbers has not sufficient digits. Apparently untested.
