This is why I do not understand that bailout packages no matter whether for banks or anyone else aren't tied to a completely revised exec pay scheme. Heck, some are said to even dole out bonuses in view of blatant management blunders. Having to accept or even ask for a bail-out is IMHO a clear admission "Hey, we screwed up. Big time."
