I used to give the kid a teeny taste of single malt Scotch when he was a baby, as well as spicy Sciracca sauce and other weird things. He'll eat just about anything as a teenager.

It'd be a mean task, even with a simulator... three parameters, VL, VH and VDD :-(
For debounce of a slow signal I don't much care, I'd just "over-TAU" it :-)
For oscillators I use a variant of...
Except my on-chip versions that don't come out to a pin, I don't need the resistive divider, swinging above and below rail is not an issue if there's no ESD. ...Jim Thompson
Yup. Dip finger in Jack Daniels, rub on baby's gums :-) ...Jim Thompson
So weird, how Thompson claims he has killfiled me, and then follows me around by proxy. Makes no sense.
John
You mean he'll eat just about "everything" as a teenager.

That too. It was funny seeing a bunch of them at their hotel for spring training in FL.. 35 or 40 15-18 y.o. jocks.. the manager was standing around the breakfast buffet with a forlorn look, watching his profits disappear down their gullets, and scolding any of them walking off with food in their hands.

I think ALL males are like that until you get up into my age range. I have a son-in-law (50 years old) who will raid our refrigerator and do such injudicious things as eating COLD shepherd's pie smeared with mustard. Of course he's a lawyer, so maybe that explains it :-) ...Jim Thompson

If it's CMOS then VT(-), min should be 0.3 x VDD and V(+), max should be 0.7 x VDD, the CMOS logic thresholds.
But watch the harmonics and possible subsequent EMC issues when banging into substrate diodes. Some countries now mandate compliance up to many gigeehoitzes and metal 1 can make a nice little antenna up there.
Pay attention. No ESD on GATES = no substrate diode conduction ;-) ...Jim Thompson
Ah! A hot toddy! Bourbon, lemon juice, sugar, and hot water. Great for colds and stuffy sinuses!
Cheers! Rich
Why all that mixing, when you can just drink rum?
John
Erm, no. There is no valid explanation for lawyers! ;-)

The flavor of rum always reminds me of the musty dirt smell from our old root cellar when I was a kid, and Dad was a bourbon fan at the time. :-)
And when somebody else mixes it, who cares? >:->
