HCPL-4200 CURRENT LOOP RECEIVER

Dear friends,

Anyone has some practise using HPCP-4200 current loop recevier?

It seems the easy and faster way to isolate this current input signal, isn't it?

Apparently not.

You're looking for an analog device. The HCPL-4200 is a digital device, either on or off. What you need is a device designed to operate with a "current loop" - this is very common; it's been an industry standard for as long as I can remember.

That's a *digital* device for 20mA current loop (TTY) serial communication.
