Mo and I like the Castro. The Castro movie theater is a beaux-art spectacle, complete with gold geegaws and a working pipe organ. They run a lot of old movies and festivals. Cliff's Variety is a wonderful hardware and housewares store, and there are some great restaurants in the Castro.

Why? The last time you came across a street address (no longer valid), you gloated that you then knew where to send the hit men.
Giving real information to an individual with a poor grasp of reality (who once claimed to have reported me to the FBI for exhibiting extreme anti-American attitudes) would be rather less than prudent.
The slob could probably make it up to my current front door - there's a lift - but consideration for my neighbours precludes being specific about the location.

Works quite a lot better, with the second to fifth harmonics all around 80dB below the fundamental, which is not bad for a circuit that is probably about 90% efficient in converting DC current into sine wave current.
I benefited from some e-mail comments from an old friend of mine who is probably as good at electronics as anybody here. The circuit still has a long way to go.
In real life, the (altered) pulse sequence would come out of a PLD clocked at around 7MHz by a 74HCT4046 locked to the actual resonant frequency of the tank circuit - locked exactly how, I've yet to work out, though it might involve a rudimentary current sensing transformer (a couple of turns of wire on a ferrite tube) on the feed to the tank circuit.
By "right" I meant that I was agreeing about "total waste of time."
Sorry for any misunderstanding.
There seems to be a new hobby, playing with LT SPice, engaged in by people who never actually build anything. It's like the people who watch celebrity cooking shows all day, but don't actually cook anything themselves.
Oh well, have fun.

Incorrectly, as it turns out. You'd be a poor choice for leading a development team.
Somehow I doubt that this a particularly sincere apology.
The parts list for the circuit I plan to build - something rather different - is now up to 26 items and about 500 euros, with a couple of expensive items still to come. It's on the back burner until I've indexed two of my wife's book chapters - she ran out of money-hungry graduate students before she ran out of chapters, so now I'm roped in
- but that's only going to take a couple of days.
LTSpice is certainly cheaper than building things, and you can pull out waveforms that would be hard to see in real life. I'm well aware that the models aren't perfect - I've bitched about specific short- comings here from time to time - but it can be handy.
This time I think I've got a circuit worth building, but I may be able to procrastinate until someone else builds it first.
