Electric Fence and Bathroom Habits

Andy asks:

I just started wondering, how many people here have at some time in their lives, actually peed on an electric fence ?

Care to share ? :>))))

Andy

PS I never have ( thanks be to God ) but I had a childhood friend that did. He didn't think much of the idea after that.......

In the paper a few years back: A teenager around here somewhere climbed a tower and peed on the line. He was killed. I imagine the 230 kV killed him just before the 80 foot fall. Have another beer, dude.

I've not done so, but I've participated in a previous Usenet thread on this topic (the relevant subthread starts at post 23):

Not an electric fence, but a number of years back here in Perth (Western Australia) an inebriated youth stood on an overpass and peed on the 25kV electric train overhead line.

The overpasses have a metal mesh screen fitted to prevent debis being dropped on the line/trains. He apparently stood on that so he could have a clear shot.

He was left sans genitalia and parts of his knickers - containing some synthetics - are now a permanent part of his anatomy. I guess he qualifies for a "Darwin" - having removed himself from the gene pool.

I haven't, but I've been kicked full-force right square in the balls. I went down.

Thanks, Rich

True of me with the tongue-test of a 10.6 VDC 850 ma cellphone charger, but that's been told here numerous times... :-)

I checked, with my tongue a 2200 uF cap charged with a 9V battery "once".

My brother once pissed on a 13 amp mains socket. Great blue flash, took the mains out completely. His partner says his performance is still electric, 40 years later.

Another friend was renowned for inappropriate urination. Being blind, he often didn't see it coming... not only an electric fence, but memorably, one night walking home from the pub, he nipped behind someone's hedge, and was dragged back just too late, having hauled the lot out in front of the whole family staring in horror through the uncurtained window.
