I am just wondering if anyone here has see or heard about the guy is Africa that has "supposedly" invented a magic car.

I believe he finally invented the flux capacitor. Just hope he never gets up to 88 mph.

Sadly this might take the path of the guy, years ago that invented a new grass that always stayed green with minimal water and only grew 2-3" per year. Once it was announced on the nightly news nothing was heard about him or the grass ever since. My guess would be that some lawn tractor company bought him out to keep his mouth shut!!>> Forever!!

Since this "Invention of Electronics Design" is On Topic I would hope that the Brains here will be puzzled a bit!! ;-)

The challenge he has set could be met by a car that can recharge itself with ~1kW of solar panels on the roof for a day and then move the distance that that amount of stored energy will allow. Rinse and repeat.

It could also be done by getting friends to push it along...

Not a chance! The slick video looks to me like it is solely intended to separate greedy and gullible investors from their money. It may well be very effective at that goal. P T Barnum had a saying about it...
