Earthquake hits Mexico this morning

A big earthquake with the strength of 8.1 on the Richter scale has hit Mexico. Two million Mexicans have died and over a million are injured. The country is totally ruined and the government doesn't know where to start with providing help to rebuild.

The rest of the world is in shock.

Canada is sending troops to help the Mexican army control the riots.

Saudi Arabia is sending oil.

Other Latin American countries are sending supplies.

The European community (except France) is sending food and money.

The United States, not to be outdone, is sending two million replacement Mexicans.

Love it! It's truly a shame that some people are so political-correctness-uptight that they have absolutely no sense of humor.

I have a daughter-in-law who is Jewish and we trade Jewish jokes all the time.

Likewise a son-in-law that enjoys lawyer jokes... even the severely nasty ones ;-)

As usual, Jim is out of touch with reality. There's no conflict between having a sense of humour and appreciating that certain old jokes are unnecessarily offensive. Laughing while you are barfing is not a pleasant experience - though Jim's jokes are rarely funny enough enough to compell laughter.

Don't have much choice, do they, if they want to keep on speaking terms with their father-in-law. You can chose your friends, but relatives aren't optional.
