Does Bill Gates Have a Hot Wife

Precisely. An engineer will think about what he really needs before he goes out and get it :-)

But, SOS should have been chipped beef in gravy, not sausage...

Charlie

Naaah! "s*it" is generic for chopped meat, sausage, chef's surprise, etc., or maybe her SOS means SAUSAGE on shingle ?:-)

where I work all the hotties are married to non-engineering types, artists, contractors, finance people, etc, but no lawyers or doctors (or if they do, maybe they just quit)

However, if a hottie gets divorced they almost always go for the exact opposite type of guy (engineer), sort of like when you have a ford escort, and decide you want something different you always go overboard the opposite way and buy, say, a ford expedition

My late grandmother would have been insulted! I don't think she ever left the state of Kentucky, but could that old woman cook. She was born in the late 1800s and spent her life on farms. That kind of gravy was part of almost every breakfast I had when we visited as a kid. They were hard working, and ate piles of food that amazed me yet none of them was overweight. Breakfast and super were heavy meals, while lunch was a quick break, then back to their fields, or barns.

Home grown pigs, chickens, cows and fresh vegetables at most meals. I've never found a better ham than what was in their smokehouse. She may have been a "Down home country girl", but no one ever walked away from her table hungry. They had an apple orchard with hundreds of old trees that were supposedly planted by Johnny Appleseed. No hybrids. Just good, old fashioned apples and more than you knew what to do with. She passed away in 1966. :(

Is it similar to that stuff that Denny's serves as "country gravy"? It looks like one might imagine donkey spooge looks like and probably doesn't taste all that great.

I don't know about Denny's, but "N" makes a mean sausage gravy served over biscuits, or sometimes country-fried steak... scrumptious ;-)

Thanks for picture links, opinions, comments, jokes and feedback..

You know the expression "You are what you eat" ...It might be too "You are what you do"....With that in mind, I wondered if designers sometimes suffer from... call it "hard core logic" syndrone. What hot woman thinks Mr. Spock is fun?

I thought of the "Hot Wife" post because I noticed a lack of content of "humanistic" technical problems that electronics designers may get. Example: "Do not fix and raise your quality of life."

Sometimes it's not just an electronics problem....

And lastly... If you thought this topic was stupid (as one poster commented), please see the DVD post..If I recall correctly, some guy wants to know about every waveform inside a DVD player...Probably on every pin on every chip. :)

does she know about his micro soft?

He has been asking lots of different, but vague questions about DVD hardware on other electronics newsgroups, including the repair group.
