Most especially prototypes made with "non-standard" material, EG:

20mil to 31mil material. Ideas? References? Approx pricing for 1-2 boards?

Thanks

PCB prototypes everywhere depends on size.

You are welcome. Nondeterminate question get nondeterminate answer.

Who? Where? *REFERENCES*? Thanks for wasting time with NON-information.

I think 31mil is a standard size. Size and # of Holes needed. Probably around $500 from the big guys. Less thru the pools.

Your time is still (again?) off by one hour.

There is a guy I use for "quick and dirty" prototypes, but probably just

standard 1/16" FR4 and no PTHs. But he might be able to make what you need. I made a calculator based on his formulas, so you can figure out what he

would charge. I will be getting four 1.5" x 2.5" double sided boards for

about $32 including setup and shipping.

I use different suppliers for different sizes. Some are cheaper for smaller size and some for bigger board.

So do everybody else here. That's why they invented Google.

Goddamnit, just give me references and *I* will find out from THEM what THEIR criteria WRT pricing. Being an asshole, you would bitch if i required YOU to do screening (ie: any WORK).

for 5cm x 5cm 10PCS prototype, 1.6mm, FR4, 1oz copper thickness, any solder mask color, white overlay, price is $29 shipped by USPS (if you are in USA).

Same standard but 10cm x 10 cm, $44 shipped by USPS if you are in USA.

I have used them a few times, very good service, down side is they only take Gerber files. However their order status has lots of real time details.

Good luck

Excellent! Competitive with ExpressPCB but with ADDED choices of board thickness (which i can use) and panelization (which reduces cost).

Thanks!

Just did a online quote on

10PCS, 10cm by 10 cm, 24mil thickness (0.6mm), it will be $41 shipped (if you are in usa). Cheaper then 1.6mm, I guess the shipping weight is less so it is cheaper.

My micro layout, with via, is bigger than 10x10. Even a 20 pins FPC socket is bigger than 10mm. What else can i put on the 10x10?

Sorry, ignore me. I was thinking in mm.

Check; found that PcbCart allows a wide range of thicknesses - very useful. Board as a rather huge number of holes (4) and the largest dimension is giant (less than 1.5 inches). PcbCart quoted a price competitive with ExpressPCB (under $100). For a onesie, this is a very good start, as ExpressPCB is like Ford when they first started ("you can have any color you want, so long as it is black").

Actually if you order 10 PCS, I think the price is the same.

It is not complicate to generate Gerber file, here is the tutorial:

The nice thing about youpcb.com is, they don't charge color fees, so you can order your pcb in different colors other than standard green.

Does anyone know if they will score a panel (V-cut) from the 10cm x 10cm board ?

I need .7" x 1.1" boards, a 10x10cm panel would hold lots if they will score the pcb for the same price.

thanks

Pcbcart.com would do it with minimum cost (or none, i don't remember). I ordered a few hundreds from them before.

But there are cheaper places that would cut it up nice for you.

I registered with youpcb.com.

The order form shows Board type[?] OIndividual oPanel, but I can not select panel.

At the top of that page is says: Order type _Prototype _

So I guess that I can not order a panel from the Prototype menu.

And the Instant Quote button does is broken ! [Controller doesn't exist/home/tiao/public_html/youpcb/Controllers/index.php.gds.php]
