Get it while you can, Mr. Materialistic, and, if that 85 year old lady gets in your way, just smack her down.

I need an outdoor-rated LED floodlight, to keep the big neighborhood rat from skinning all the Meyer lemons on our tree. It's amazing: the critter perfectly chomps away all the skin and leaves the insides hanging there. A bright light keeps it away.
We have a regular CF work light out there now, and it works fine, but it's about to start raining, and the upward-facing lamp bowl will funnel all the water into the 120 volt socket, probably not a good thing.
There's a Lowes close to here; they have tons of interesting lighting.
Speaking of materialistic, the Meyer lemons make a wonderful lemon pie. A boy needs a break from pecan pie, now and then.

t to step in and ban it. Makes you wonder how things will go when they star t rationing food due to shortages consequent to global warming.
ets in your way, just smack her down.
The category of product you need is LED Landscape Lighting- Spot and Flood Lights. Most of the products are low voltage.
I just bought some outdoor A19 LED bulbs 430 lumens single digit wattage bi g bold print on the package LASTS 23 YEARS, not so bold print inside packag e, Limited Warranty 5 Years, side note life expectancy [23 years] based on
3 hours daily maximum. Now who uses an outdoor bulb for just 3 hours daily. They were Osrams.- posted

I wonder how a rat fed on lemon peels would taste. Zesty, I guess.
There should be some decent LED landscape lights at Lowes or Home Despot- if you have low voltage wiring in place, those are pretty common. We've still got some old ones that use automotive 12V bulbs (they were fairly pricey from the landscaper).

Or possibly a pellet gun, which would also solve the problem of rats in the garden. (I gather your cats have declined the assignment.)

Bad news it this US based insanity has made it to the UK too with people fighting each other over bargain TVs and coffee makers with several injured in brawls and police having to deal with instore riots.
And without the extra weight of half a turkey and pumpkin pie weighting them down the UK in store bargain fights were pretty brutal. It seems that Black Friday is well named for bringing out the very worst in what has become an increasingly selfish materialistic society.
I reckon the police should be allowed to charge the stores for supply of services to restore public order since it was the shops publicity and failure to provide adequate security staff that resulted in these insane violent frenzies of shopping as an extreme contact sport!

If I didn't know any better I would say you're trying to insinuate something about being over weight? :)
As for selfish materialistic thought, that's what socialism does to people, they don't know how to appreciate what they have.
I am sure some of the police had their eyes on those goods too, they most likely timed it just right to confiscate the goods for evidents and surprisingly will appear under their tree this year! ;)
