For my auctions, thubmnails are big enough to convey a general idea, and users who are very interested can see great details by clicking on them. A collage simply would not provide enough detail.

They are worth learning in many cases but not as first languages. Forth has just never caught on in a big way: its most famous use, I think, is in Open Firmware. PostScript was never intended to be directly written to produce documents, and except for Don, no one does.
However, unless H-1B visa indentured servitude is stopped, any programming language is going to be a hobby proposition in short order...
