I remember when they were first spec'ing that thing out, there was talk of a requirement the aircraft be able to land on a runway of 18" tree stumps. Nothing on Earth can do that with the kinds of loads that thing handles, it couldn't do that unloaded..

You could get the same information from any news source that didn't concentrate on providing the kind of misinformation that makes people like you and Cursitor Doom feel happy. Rupert Murdoch has made a lot of money out of that market - authors of low grade creative fiction are lot cheaper than real reporters.
