I started thinking about what I wanted to do with my career. What I have been doing for the last several years is developing devices at the board level. Mainly capturing all the logic and then shooting it over to my layout guy. We get the stuffed boards back then I get my code on the microcontroller to communicate with everything else on the board.
I was browsing around on monster.com and most of the jobs that catch my attention are the ASIC and RF type jobs that require several years of experience. That is just the problem - I don't have the background just yet to get the technical job that I want. Even if I picked up a masters degree in EE I still don't have the real world experience to land the job. ( I currently have a BS in Computer Engineering) Any advice on how I can gain this experience quickly so I can land a more rewarding job?
Thanks for any information any feedback is appreciated
