Indeed. Ambient operating temperature is down to -40°C "with no icing or condensation". I should think not with terminals carrying up to 3.3kV only 5mm apart!

It's sensitive to static too, and there's an interesting translation (from Japanese to English?) in the "Precautions" section: "Furthermore, prevent the devices from being destructed against static electricity for baking of it."

I might need something like that, but I can make my own from a PV opto and a fet or two.
