Anyone use this before?



I registered but it seems sorta hard to get the handle on.



Do they source the components for you via mouser / Digi-key and have the board made in China?



This is the board I'd like to try and make:

Tho there are versions out there using a 555 or other IC, which probably is better....and fine as long as it puts out the -6V for the ALC.



A site in Italy has done this but wont sell to the US anymore.

it may not be suitable for what you want.

Why not use a potted dc/dc converter?

Or a SIP 3t switcher?

I searched Mouser and Digi for one with -6V out, nothing came up.

it's isolated so it should be -6 of you connect +Vout to ground

Right.

There are crazy cheap 3-terminal switchers, intended as replacements for LM317 and 78xx parts. They can do + to - conversions too.

Hmm, it also has a limited input voltage so would have to knock down the 12V input to like 5v with a

7805 or somehting?
