Hi,
I'm not sure if this is really the right group, but all the other sci.electronics seem to be just full of spam. Anyway, the problem I have is that I have a little GPS board which has a 1.27mm SIL header on it (10 pins). I now want to get a socket that connects to it! Although I've purchased such an item, my low dexterity means that I'm having real trouble actually assembling the socket (2.54mm pitch has never been a problem but this so tiny). What I'd love to be able to purchase is a socket that just vampires onto a 10 way IDC 28SWG ribbon cable. I've searched high and low for such a thing but have not managed to find one (at least in the UK).
Does anyone have any good suggestions/aternatives/etc?
Thanks,
Matt
