I need to get 25 minimum and ideally 50 of these LB1649 driver ICS.
They are a twin bi directional motor driver IC - we use them on a model railway layout for point controllers, and are rebuilding some replacement cards we already have prepared. so unless anyone knows of a pin compatible replacement
Originally used by Video recorders in the early 1990s for motor control, they seem to be pretty unobtainable now.
Does anyone know of a cheap source for some? I can find odd ones available from parts suppliers , but at silly prices.
ps We are in the UK.
