Help identifying IC package

What package is this IC?

Is it a TSOP? It seems to be 4mm x 2.8mm and I really can't imagine any regular test-clips being small enough to get in there.



Can anybody advise on the best way of connecting to it in-circuit? Should I look for some very small test-clips, or is there a suitable clip which fits over the whole chip?

tsop.jpg? I just called it that because I thought that might be what it is ;) I've sorted it what I was doing now anyway, but some kind of 8-pin TSOP test-clip would have been handy.

Thanks Homey. It's definately an 8-pin TSSOP then (two S's.. ). Now I wonder how difficult it is to obtain a test clip for one ..
