Try bright diffuse light at a shallow angle, and dab a smear of white spirit or paraffin on the top of the IC, and use a strong magnifier. It doesn't always work, it depends how thoroughly the numbers were ground off.

Sort of sad, really. Top link on Google:

Manufacturer: Irradiant Model Number: DMX DIM 12 PRO Year: Price: $900.00

12 CHANNEL DMX DIMMER PACK Microprocessor control Separate DMX addressing for each channel 12 chase programs 1-12, DMX Hold, Analog can be selectable in the event of DMX failure Phase correction activates linear dimming (0-100%) Control curve can be selectable from Linear/Switch/Square Analog input Short circuit protection for each channel with integral 10A circuit breakers LCD menu system Electronic protection against over temperature Non-Volatile
