Orcad Layout 7 Layers Not Appearing in Post Process Spreadsheet

I'm using Orcad Layout 7. I went to generate the gerber files for a design, and noticed that none of my active layers are appearing in the Post Process spreadsheet! Only the unused layers appear. Any ideas how to restore the missing layers?

This is typically caused by using a buggered template file at the beginning of your project.

  1. Open the post process spreadsheet.

  1. Hit the "insert" key to add another entry. You can set the options now, or just accept the goofy options for now. Close the dialog box.

  2. Select (highlight) the entry you just created in the post process spreadsheet and right click to bring up the pull-down menu. Select "Preview". Go to the color spreadsheet and turn on the layers you want. Go back to the post process spreadsheet by clicking on "Window" (on the top menu bar), "Post Process". Right click on your entry in the post processor spreadsheet and select "Save Colors".

  1. You can globally change the options in the spreadsheet by selecting all the entries and changing the options.

BTW, the insert key is Layout's method of copying or creating new items in a spreadsheet.

You can also try loading in another template (File|Load), like the default template. This might restore the normal layers in the post process spreadsheet.
